Create An Epic Vegan Spread Platter

As a vegan that is a hard-core foodie and revels in anything aesthetically pleasing, this entirely vegan & GLORIOUS spread was definitely a winner at my birthday celebration amongst my friends and family.

The theme of this celebration was an elegant and earthy soirée, with rustic & dried botanicals and fresh pink and orange flowers, (and lots of pampas grass of course) that covered the room. My 'guardian angel' and most talented, compassionate and beautiful friend Eliska who has looked after my skin over the years owns the most amazing wellness studio 'Beauty & Balance', which is where my birthday was celebrated.

How we made the food spread

On a large circular concrete table, we covered the surface with 10 large banana leaf palms (cut from our backyard) as a base for all the food to be arranged on

This platter full of nourishing plant foods was definitely the most photogenic piece of art my mum, sister and I have ever made, and it was so much fun to create, but even more fun to enjoy it with everyone :)
