Delicious 2 Ingredient Raw Detox Dressing. Fat Free!

This dressing is so simple, quick and easy to make... yet tastes so flavourful and can go perfectly with almost any veggie meal. Most dressing recipes I see online and in cookbooks contain oil, salt, fat from nuts, seeds, or tahini etc. I wanted to create a dressing sauce that can be enjoyed whilst detoxing, and that is super easy to digest too!

Read on for the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 mango with seed and skin removed

  • 1 red capsicum with seeds and white fibre removed

Method

Blend both the mango and capsicum together in a blender until smooth and free of lumps & chunks. If you prefer sweeter and/or thicker dressings, add in more mango. if you prefer more mild tasting dressings, add in more capsicum.

I encourage you to experiment with the mango to capsicum ratio in this dressing and see what your taste buds like best!

I did not add water to this dressing, because both the mango and capsicum have a high water content already and blended quite easily. I also did not want to dilute the flavours of these fruits. But if you need to add in some liquid to get your blender to combine the fruits, go ahead!

NOTE- please avoid using green capsicums, they are not ripe :)

Serving

Enjoy this deliciously simple raw fruitarian dressing on salads, as a dip, pair with sushi as a condiment sauce, mix with kelp noodles, or enjoy it with your favourite veggies!
